We may be the linear drainage industry leaders, but that’s not all we’re known for! Here at Lauxes, one of our core values is ‘we don’t do boring’, and we stick to that with our grates, culture, and events. I guess you could call us indoor and outdoor drainage specialists that know how to throw a grate party.
After months of extensive planning, our first ever event of its kind came together. Loads of hours were put into the running, decorating and execution of the day.
A couple weeks ago, the Lauxes Grates team threw a one-of-a-kind VIP ‘Gold Class’ Event. We know that we wouldn’t be where we are today without the ongoing support from our customers, and we wanted to give back. We decided to fly 80+ of our VIP distributors from all over Australia, to the Gold Coast. Our VIPs were selected on a certain criteria; the ones who have been an extra special part of our Lauxes Grates journey over the past few years. Wining and dining them for a weekend, our VIPs were treated to a day at the races, full of entertainment.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell and NRL legend and immortal, Mal Meninga chatted to our guests and team about the importance of leadership, teamwork, and culture, while discussing the relationship we have with them through our sponsorship. Through our charity raffle we also managed to raise over $3,000 for the Titans Together Foundation. All proceeds raised ensure the foundation can continue its grate work in helping the local community.
Product presentations were at the forefront of the day, with customers getting the first look at our highly anticipated gold grate range, as well as the rest of our linear drainage products, including our midnight range and storm water grates. Everyone was then given the chance to network with our team and other guests, able to ask questions about the extensive range of linear grates we now offer.
